Hi there, thank you for choosing Lavup, your personal fragrance memory keeper built exclusively for scent lovers of all kinds. This agreement lays out how we work together to make your scent tracking journey smooth, private, and totally stress-free.

We built Lavup to be your low-fuss, distraction-free space for all things fragrance — zero social feeds, zero random notifications, zero hoops to jump through. We want this app to feel like your own personal vanity shelf, only for your fragrance memories.

✨ What You Can Do With Lavup

You have full freedom to use Lavup for all your personal fragrance needs, including but not limited to:

• Building and customizing your personal fragrance collection by uploading photos or snapping shots directly with your camera
• Rating scents with our Golden Swirl system, logging wearing history, and tracking your personal scent preferences over time
• Creating custom moodboards, sorting fragrances by vibe, occasion, or memory, and building your own wishlist of scents to try next
• Exporting or sharing your own content from the app whenever you want, for your own personal use

🤝 Our Commitment To You

We take your privacy and experience extremely seriously, and we make these non-negotiable promises to every Lavup user:

• 100% local data storage: Every single piece of content you save in Lavup (photos, ratings, wear logs, wishlists, everything) lives only on your personal device. We never sync your data to external servers, we never collect any of your personal information, and we will never access or share your private scent memories with any third party, ever.
• Zero distractions: You will never see random social feeds, targeted ads, or irrelevant pop-ups in Lavup. The app exists solely to help you organize and enjoy your fragrance collection, no extra fluff included.
• Lightweight, intuitive experience: We will keep the app fast, easy to navigate, and focused on the features you actually use, no unnecessary complicated tools added unless you ask for them.

💡 Our Simple Requests For You

We only have a few small ground rules to make sure Lavup stays a great tool for everyone:

• Please only use Lavup for your own personal fragrance tracking needs. Don't use the app to store or share content that doesn't belong to you, or that would hurt or upset other people.
• Don't modify, tamper with, or redistribute the Lavup app or its code for commercial purposes without reaching out to us for permission first.
• If you share content you created in Lavup to other platforms, that's totally your call! You're fully responsible for anything you choose to share outside the app.
• We don't store your data on our servers, so please remember to back up your own device regularly if you want to keep your fragrance collection safe if your phone is lost or damaged.

🫶 Content Ownership

You own 100% of all content you create and save in Lavup: all your photos, ratings, personal notes, moodboards, and wishlist entries are yours and yours alone. We never claim any ownership rights over any of your personal content, and we will never use your content for any purpose without your explicit written permission.

If you ever want to delete all your data, you can clear the app storage or uninstall Lavup at any time, and all your content will be permanently erased with no traces left anywhere else.

🔄 App Updates & Support

We will roll out regular app updates to add new features, fix small bugs, and make your Lavup experience even better. You can choose to install updates or stick with your current version whenever you want, though we can't guarantee we'll keep supporting very old versions of the app forever.

📝 Agreement Updates

We may tweak this agreement every now and then as we add new features to Lavup. If we make any changes, we'll post a clear notification inside the app the next time you open it. If you keep using Lavup after the updated agreement goes live, that means you're happy with the new terms.
